Event, October 21&22, Rhinebeck, NY: Sheep & Wool Festival

[Updated 2006.10.14 00:22 EDT: Linked to flickr photo set from last year's festival.]

You can see my photo-journal of last year's festival elsewhere on this blog. We hope to make it up there next weekend. I expect to take a lot more photos than I did last year.

Your photos are to dye for! I'm a sheepaholic, a yarnaholic as well. I have friends attending this year's Sheep & Wool Festival. I didn't leave myself any time to attend, unfortunately. It is a "looong" drive, as you say. Take lots of photos. Enjoy.

"Baaaad-ass" post! (Sorry, I have severe OCD where puns are concerned!) Seriously, I love to see different types of livestock. In another life, I'll have a farm-boy honey, a few kids to help, and a nice little homestead on 100 acres somewhere...

Wool you look at those terrible puns! What is it about sheep that brings out the punsters?!

My partner and I are quite fond of goats, in particular. I keep saying I want a goat to help me with the mowing and composting. We befriended several on our North Carolina trip. I'll see if I can make an excuse to get some of those photos up ...
