This has got to be a good thing - right?
Yes, it's a good thing. Using "green" building principles on such visible and public projects will only help to increase acceptance for use on lesser buildings.
The photograph just struck me as funny, especially given all the public animosity these parties have shown. I don't know how the photographer got them to stand so close together long enough to take a picture!
