Yeah, I didn't "stage" this shot, except to remove a branch from the field of view. Those are from the London Plane Tree that's the street tree in front of my house.
Snowdrops (Galanthus sp.) bloom earlier than even these Crocus, but I don't have any yet in my garden. I've seen in bloom at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden for the past two weeks.
There are lots of snowdrops in our front garden (formerly your front garden) on 5th St. - I love it when they break forth from the snow. Stop over and take a look.

ReplyDeleteI saw snowdrops on Rugby and Dorchester yesterday. So pleased to see your crocuses!
