According to Google Analytics, from which I've collected these stats, "unique page views" are the number of visits during which a page was viewed. Page views are higher, since the same page may be viewed multiple times during a single visit. Unique pageviews, however, doesn't distinguish multiple visits from the same person or IP address.- Native Plant Profile: Asimina triloba, PawPaw, 2010-02-07, 756 visits

All I can tell from the traffic sources is that they come from Google searches for fenugreek, the seed of which provides the raw material for artificial maple flavoring. Many, if not most, of the searches originate in India. Go figure.

- For 2010's NYC Wildflower Week, the first week of May, I provided advice on gardening with native plants and had my first visit to the Greenbelt Native Plant Center on Staten Island.
- In November, I planted a Dogwood in Prospect Park in memory of my father.
- Our neighborhood lost the Campus Road Garden.
- I continued in my role as the Director of the Urban Gardens and Farms Initiative of Sustainable Flatbush. It was a busy year, including Greening Flatbush, a Spring and Fall Street Tree Walking Tour, the inception of a new Community Garden, and participation in Project LeafDrop.

ReplyDeleteI haven't forgotten your observations about performance problems with my blog. I just haven't had the time and mental space to dive into it. It's in my backlog.
